How to participate?

Hunter Badminton is a Newcastle-based, volunteer-run association dedicated to fostering a love for badminton. We’re all about creating an inclusive environment for players of all levels. So whether you’re a seasoned player or a complete beginner, we’d love to have you play with us! Please don’t forget to wear your non-marking shoes and bring your badminton racket!

Please Note: We are not currently accepting new memberships as we monitor session attendance. Past members can renew their membership through YEP!Booking.

Here’s how you can get involved:

NON-MEMBERS | VISITORS | PAST-MEMBERS

From Friday, 13th December 2024, Non-members will no longer be able to join regular social sessions. However, dedicated sessions are available:

  • Monday & Thursday: 9:30am – 12:00pm (Walk-in, Pay at the hall)
  • Friday: 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Book via YEP!Booking)
  • Saturday: 12:00pm – 2:30pm (Book via YEP!Booking)
  • Sunday: 4:15pm – 6:45pm (Book via YEP!Booking)-Available ONLY AFTER 5th January 2025
 

Please note, walk-in sessions on Monday and Thursday require payment at the hall while the rest of the sessions must be paid in advance via YEP!Booking. 

MEMBERS

Membership offers access to regular and graded sessions, managed via YEP!Booking. 

As a member:

  • You may book up to three sessions per week and one session per day. 
  • Join graded sessions after completing a grading assessment. 
  • Hire courts for private use (subject to availability)
 

Important Information:

From the 20th of December 2024, all bookings must be prepaid via YEP!Booking.
