Our Social League is a weekly mixed team competition that is usually held over 7 weeks and offered every school term – so 3 or 4 different mini comps throughout the year.
When a social league is advertised, players nominate themselves and the organisers of the competition will place everyone into set teams.
Being a graded team event – Players will always play against someone their own level, however they will be automatically partnered up with their other team mates of different levels and combinations.
For example – if you are the strongest player in the team – you will have a ranking of number 1 and play in set games like – 1+2, 1+3, 1+4, etc
Depending on the amount of nominations received each time – team size can vary from comp to comp, anywhere from 5 to 8 players per team.
4 teams is the optimum number, resulting in a weekly round robin with every team playing each other twice over the course of the competition… followed by a deciding Grand Final week.
Our Social League is open to all club members and we are always looking for reserve players to fill in for injuries and players unavailability from week to week.
